The committee is headed by Harold Jones and is focused on maintaining and improving properties held or managed by the Society including the IOOF Hall in Middle Grove and the Daketown School. If you would like to volunteer your time and muscles to this committee, we would love your help. Just contact us.

Begun in 2007, the farmers market is now held each Friday at the Middle Grove Park from 4-7pm. The market is run by Ron Deutch. To become a vendor or for more information please call Ron Deutsch at (518) 469-6769

Each month's meeting includes a program such as a neighboring historian, a local author or artist or other local subject-matter expert. Recent programs included the Natural History of the Kayaderosseras by Libby Holmes, presentation on the Underground Railroad by novelist Elaine Handley.

A very exciting new project this year is under way. Led by our own Dan Chertoc, the goal is to identify historic places of interest within the town and place them on an interactive online map where you could see photos and read stories about each location.

If you have are familiar with a home or building or any other site of historical significance, please contact us with the information or email Dan directly.
